Luisa Y. Hernandez of Callao, Peru, an accountant and a longtime resident of the area, died Tuesday, Sept. 28, at home. She was 39.
The daughter of Eugenia Medrano Hernandez and the late Carlos E. Hernandez Lavagna, she was born April 4, 1954 in Lima, Peru.
Survivors include her mother of Lima; three sisters, Rosa Marquez of Middletown, Carmen B. Rue and Sara Diaz, both of Monticello; two brothers and two sisters in Lima, Peru; and several nieces and nephews.
Burial was held in Bajquejano International Cemetery in Lima.
