Carlos E. Hernandez Lavagna of Callao, Peru, owner and operator of Hernandez Funeral Home, died Monday, June 21 at his home. He was 75.
The son of the late Rosa Maria Lavagna and the late Julio Hernandez, natives of Italy and Spain, respectively, he was born August 12, 1918 in Lima, Peru.
Survivors include his wife Eugenia Medrano Hernandez of Lima, and daughters Rosa Marquez of Middletown, Carmen B. Rue of Monticello and Sara Diaz of Monticello. Other survivors include five children in Lima, Carlos E. Hernandez, Maria Tuliano, Luisa Hernandez, four sons-in-law, Jorge Marquez of Middletown, Thomas S. Rue and Jorge Diaz of Monticello, and Jose Tuliano of Lima, daughter-in-law Angelita Hernandez; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Burial was in Bajquejano U.S. Cemetery in Lima.
