A meeting was held yesterday at the offices of Clinical Laboratories, Inc. in Dunmore. Present at the meeting were investigators from the Pennsylvania State Police, Dr. Edward Murray, Wayne County Coroner, District Attorney Mark R. Zimmer and Dr. Gary Ross of Clinical Laboratories. The purpose of the meeting was to review the present status of the investigation into the fire at Milanville, Pennsylvania, on Thursday, August 28, 1997, and the circumstances involving the death of Patricia Woll.
Following the meeting it was announced that the cause of death of Patricia Woll has been determined to be the result of the house fire. The manner of death has been listed as Arson/Homicide. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the fire is continuing.
"The Pennsylvania State Police are very interested in talking to anyone who knew Patricia Woll and who may have been with her or saw her within the last forty eight (48) hours before the fire," District Attorney Mark Zimmer said.
