Monticello gets on info super-hiway

MONTICELLO - Making government more accessible to citizens was among the goals of obtaining e-mail service for the Village of Monticello, said village manager George Panchyshyn. Monticello's new e-mail address is vom@warwick.net, he said.

Panchyshyn said he hopes to have an municipally-maintained web site on line before he retires this August, to provide general information for visitors and residents. For over a year, a privately maintained unofficial home page of the Village of Monticello has been at http://www.zelacom.com/~hawthorn/sullivancounty/monticello.htm.
