    TRR article reprinted

    LAKEWOOD, CO - An article which first appeared in the August 22nd issue of The River Reporter entitled "When a child breaks the law", was reprinted in the October edition of The Advocate, a monthly publication of the american Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA). The article, by Thomas Rue of Monticello, describes counseling and other preventive services for at-risk youth.
    A national certified counselor, Rue is employed full-time by a private, nonprofit agency which provides counseling services to families in danger of having a child placed outside the home. He also maintains a limited private practice and has ben a regular contributor to this newspaper since 1985. Rue is married to Carmen Hernandez Rue with three children.
    AMHCA is a division of the American Association for Counseling and Development, based in Alexandria, Virginia.
