Carmen Hernandez wed
to Thomas Scott Rue
- On the afternoon of Tuesday, Feb. 6, 1990, Carmen Betsabe Hernandez and Thomas Scott Rue were married in a civil ceremony officiated by Thompson Town Justice Burton Ledina, in Monticello, N.Y. The couple will host a reception on March 24, at Mr. Willy's Restaurant, Monticello.
- The bride is the daughter of Carlos and Eugenia Hernandez, and holds a nursing degree from Universida Viarreal, Lima, Peru. She is employed by Right Finishing Co., Monticello, and Sylvia Schachnovosky, Kiamesha Lake. Ms. Hernandez has three children: Janesa, Russell Sage College; Eduardo and Carolina, 4th grade, K.L. Rutherford Elementary School.
- The groom, son of Bud and Ann Rue, Milanville, Pa., holds a masters degree in counseling services from Rider College, N.J., and a bachelors degree in psychology from Trenton State College, N.J. He is employed as a family therapist with Berkshire Farm Center & Services for Youth.
- The family will make their home in Monticello.
