Monticello Masons recognize promising young scholar

LIBERTY – Fallsburg High School junior Robert J. Sneckenberg attended a meeting of Monticello Lodge #532, Free & Accepted Masons on Eagle Drive in Liberty, where he was recognized for earning first place in New York State in a job interview competition held recently by the Future Business Leaders of America. His father, Robert E. Sneckenberg, attended the meeting with him.

For his accomplishment, Ernie Marchino, Master of the Lodge presented the younger Mr. Sneckenberg a check to be applied toward college preparations. He has his eye on an Ivy League school, Mr. Sneckenberg said, but hasn’t made a firm decision yet, either on a school or a course of study.
