a. Statement of purpose:
"The Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans is formed for the purposes of enabling networking among Pagan-identified UUs'; providing outreach of Unitarian Universalism to the broader Pagan Community; providing educational materials on Paganism for Unitarian Universalist songregations and Jewish/Christian dialogue; encouraging the development of theo/alogical and liturgical materials based on earth- and nature-centered religious and spiritual perspectives; encouraging greater use of music, dance, visual arts, poetry, story, and creative ritual in Unitarian Universalist worship and celebration; providing support for Pagan-identified UU religious professionals and ministerial students; and fostering healing relationships with our mother the Earth and all her children." b. CUUPS organizational requirements:
"To be officially recognized as a CUUPS chapter, a group must be in sympathy with the CUUPS statement of purpose, include at least three voting (i.e. dues-paying) members of CUUPS Continental, submit an annual information report and chapter registration fee (currently $25), and include CUUPS Continental on its chapter mailing list. If you would like additional information on starting a CUUPS chapter in your area, write to CUUPS Continental Headquarters, P.O. Box 640, Cambridge, MA 02140." (PN 4:1:4) 5. What is a Pagan?
