Explaining Prop One - Why You Should Flip Your Ballot and Vote YES
Prop One is a constitutional amendment to protect our rights and freedoms
β Prop 1 adds to existing protections against discrimination, based on race and religion.
β Prop 1 closes loopholes in the state constitution to make sure that no New Yorker can be discriminated against by the government, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, pregnancy status, disability status, or whether someone is LGBT.
