Delgado shows integrity; opponent should take note
It's disappointing but not surprising to see Antonio Delgado's opponent for the 19th district stoop to racial stereotyping based on Delgado's musical artistry of over a decade ago. The Republican began with a yellow NYC tabloid and sent other statements trying to portray a man who is better educated and more qualified as something less than himself based on musical style. Yet, by the Record's account: "In one song, Delgado, who is making his first foray into local congressional politics, criticizes the rationale for the Iraq War. In others, he talks of God and faith, a mother's love and poverty."
Stop the Trumpian gutter attacks and stick to reforming healthcare, corruption in the White House and incumbent Congress, reunifying children stolen from their parents at the border and imprisoned, and tax reform that benefits people rather than big corporations. This attack demonstrates that Delgado is the only candidate qualified to honorably represent New York’s 19th District and to help restore integrity to Congress.
