Fellowcraft Club To Direct Social Programs
CARL SALOMON, PRESIDENT

In writing about the newly formed Fellowcraft Club, Bro. Carl Salomon says that one of the Master's objectives for the remainder of the year is to have an active Fellowcraft Club.

The Club was organized on January 19th with 39 present. Bro. Carl Salomon was elected President, and Bro. Thomas Southworth, Secretary-Treasurer. Bro. Earl Stratton will continue to direct the degree team.

Dues were set at $1.00 per year and the annual meetings will be held each year on the third Friday in January.

Although there are a number of projects which have been suggested for completion under the direction of the newly formed club immediate attention will be given to degree team training, and the Masonic Brotherhood and Rheumatic fever drive. Wor. Bro. Richmond has requested the Club also plan a dinner dance and other social activities.

Members of the Club will meet on the third Friday evenings of each month. Guided by his suggestion that men of virility be given the reponsibility of carrying out the proper conduct of the degree team Wor. Bro. Stratton was asked to assume the duties of directing the team.

In accepting the office of President of the Club, Bro. Salomon said that there is a need for the return of the good old times when we had Masonic Minstrels and dinner dances. He said we also should consider Barber Shop Quartets, Bowling, Basketball and sports included in our program.

He pointed out that there is a limit to which ritualistic work will draw the brethren and asserted that by supplementing the work in the Lodge with new projects we could look forward to a bigger and better Lodge.

Wor. Bro. Foster Little, Chairman of the Rheumatic Fever Drive met with the newly organized club and completed plans for the drive which began officially on January 2nd.
