Clyde B. 'Bud' Rue
MILANVILLE - Clyde B. 'Bud' Rue of Milanville, a retired public school teacher in New Jersey and 23-year area resident, died Sunday, October 24 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale. He was 59.
Son of Arthur Harold and Opal Brooks Rue, he was born August 2, 1934, in Detroit, Mich. He was the founder of Habitat for Humanity in Wayne County, Pa. He was a founding member of the Upper Delaware Unitarian Universalist Fellowship and a board member of The River School at Innisfree. He was a founding member of the Upper Delaware Chapter of Amnesty International and the founder and president of Innisfree Corporation. Mr. Rue was also a lifetime member of the National Education Association and a lifetime member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
He is survived by his wife, Bernette Ann Woldin Rue, at home; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Thomas and Carmen Rue of Monticello, David and Kathleen Rue of Newtown, Pa., and John Rue of New York City; a daughter and son-in-law, Ella Rue-Eyet and Robert Eyet of Rockland, Mass.; three brothers, William A. Rue of Chateuguay, Quebeca-Canada, Robert N. Rue of Niantic, Conn., and James A. Rue of Laguna Beach, Calif.; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Milanville United Methodist Church in Milanville, Pa., with the Rev. Raymond J. Pontier officiating.
Cremation was made at the Twin Tiers Crematory in Endicott.

Funeral arrangements were made by the Rasmussen Sons Funeral Home in Narrowsburg.
