ARTHUR H. RUE -- Services for Mr. Rue, 71, of 11011 Hubbell, Livonia, were in Newburg United Methodist Church of Livonia with Rev. William A. Ritter officiating. Burial was in Parkview Cemetery. Mr. Rue died Dec. 9.

He was a member of the Michigan Botanical Club and several groups concerned with conservation of natural resources and preservation of old buildings.

Survivors are his wife, Opal B.; sons William A. of Montreal, Clyde B. of Trenton, N.J.; Dr. Robert N. of Niantic, Conn., and James A. of Lansing; a daughter [sic] Eunice Newt [sic] of Los Angeles; a brother Robert of San Diego; a sister, Mrs. Wade (Leitha) Bonds of Tallahassee, and 12 grandchildren.
