The following remarks were delivered at a memorial service held for Bud Rue, on October 30, 1993 at 2:00 PM in Milanville, Pennsylvania.

Janesa E. Martinez
granddaughter

On behalf of my brother Ed, my sister Carolina, and myself, we would first like to give our condolences to the entire Rue family. Although we have only known Bud for five years, the significant impact that he has made on our lives seems like a lifetime. Bud has always made us feel part of the family during the good and bad times. Being that our natural grandparents have always been so far away, due to geographical location, Bud practically filled the role of a grandfather to us.
Like the earth gets its energy from the sun, Bud was our guiding light that brought unity to our family and the people around him. He was the Energy of Life. Bud's absence will be felt by us all, but now we can all feel comforted knowing that Bud is resting in peace.
