HABITAT FOR HUMANITY HOLDS HALLOWEEN BRUNCH

MONTICELLO - Habitat for Humanity of Sullivan County (HFH-SC) will hold a Halloween brunch on Sunday, October 29, from 12 Noon to 4:00 P.M., hosted by Rocky's Italian Restaurant, Route 42, Monticello. Costumes are optional.
Proceeds from the event will benefit HFH-SC, which is currently in the process of raising initial startup funds to affiliate with HFH International. Donation is $9.50.

WALK-A-THON REGISTRATION STILL OPEN

MILANVILLE - Registration is still open for the Bud Rue Memorial Walk for Social Justice, slated for this Sunday, October 29. Walkers will begin at the Tusten-Cochecton Library in Narrowsburg, cross over the Upper Delaware, and proceed up River Road to the Innisfree Youth Hostel in Milanville.
The event will raise funds for Habitat for Humanity of Wayne and Sullivan counties, Victims Intervention Program of Honesdale, Interfaith Outreach United of Callicoon, and the Unitarian Universalist United Nations Office.
Sponsored by the Upper Delaware Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Milanville, the fund-raiser is held in memory of Bud Rue who organized the first such walk in 1993 and died along the way with symptoms of asthma.
