Mix recyclable trash in March

MONTICELLO - During the month of March only, Monticello residents may mix recyclable newspapers with magazines, shoe boxes, cereal boxes, toilet paper rolls, cardboard, office paper, junk mail, books, file folders or any other paper product and place them in a paper bag or cardboard box for curbside pickup.
Waxed and other coated paper is still unacceptable.
Director of public works George Panchyshyn described the new method as experimental, in a letter to village residents.
