River School 'Spring Fever' dance party

CALLICOON -- Get out your dancin' shoes and make your way over to the Delaware Community Center in Callicoon for The River School's "Spring Fever" dance party at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 24.
Live rock music is provided by Rosie and the Rockets, a versatile group of professional New York City musicians who like to party.
The group includes Elizabeth Rose, a multi-instrumentalist and singer who has played in numerous bands from Woodstock to Key West; Les Fradkin, an original member of Broadway's "Beatlemania," and Ira Siegal, a studio musician who has played on countless hit records, including those of Madonna, Stevie Winwood, Debby Gibson and Chaka Khan.
Also appearing will be studio bass whiz Seth Glassman, hot electric violinist Faith Fraoli, and keyboard player extraordinaire Jerry Plotkin. Rounding out the band is Mick Larz, a talented local drummer.
Children will be admitted free, and there will be plenty of delicious gourmet snacks.
The suggested donation of $10 will benefit The River School, a parent-run Montessori elementary school located in Milanville and sponsored by the Upper Delaware Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.
