Samuel E. Woldin, 75, founded rec committee
CRANBURY - Samuel E. Woldin, 75, a founding member of the Bound Brook Recreation Committee, died yesterday at Princeton Medical Center.
Mr. Woldin, who lived at 278 Crosse Drive, had lived in Bound Brook for 35 years before moving to Cranbury three years ago. He was born in Somerville.
Besides the recreation committee, Mr. Woldin was a former member of the Bound Brook Senior Citizens Club and the Clearbrook Senior Citizens Club in Cranbury. He had retired in 1975 as a self-employed public accountant in Bound Brook.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Koltermann, two sons, William of Bound Brook, and Robert of Califon, a daughter, Ann Rue of Lawrenceville, a step-daughter, Mary Ann Sheldon of Somerville, a stepson, John Poggioli of Somerville, two sisters, Gertrude Woldin of Somerville and Sadye Auerbach of Bridgewater, and nine grandchildren.
Survices will be tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the Conroy Funeral Home, 21 E. Second St., Bound Brook.
Burial will follow in Lake Nelson Memorial Park, Piscataway.
