The purpose of this letter is to recommend Mr. Clyde Rue to you for employment. He is a graduate of Michigan State University, where he received his bachelor's degree in education. In 1963 he received his Master's degree from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. He has completed advanced graduate courses in Mathematics at Trenton State College, Montclair State College, and Rutgers University.
Mr. Rue is an experienced educator and teacher with a background of experience which includes the following:
  1. Teacher of Mathematics for five years at the Junior High School level in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
  2. Teacher of High School Mathematics for two years in Montclair, N.J.
  3. Teacher of Junior High School Mathematics for three years in Princeton, New Jersey.
  4. Teacher of High School Mathematics for two years in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey.
  5. Teacher of compensatory Math Education for two years in the Lawrence Township Schools.
  6. Associate Examiner, Test Development area, for three years at E.T.S. in Princeton, New Jersey.
  7. Chairman of the Math Department for two years at Lawrence Junior High School.
Mr. Rue is an extremely well adjusted individual who has enjoyed the confidence of students, teachers, supervisors and parents with whom he has worked. He is a man of very sound character with high moral standards. Displaying this combination of personal characteristics has enabled him to experience continuous success in the world of work.
I have known Clyde Rue for approximately five years. In that time, I have been impressed by his ability to analyze, comprehend, and communicate. In general, he is one of the finest teachers with whom I have been associated. His teaching has always been well organized and as a result he has been extremely able to interact with and relate to students, fellow teachers, supervisors, and parents. Mr. Rue is one of the most capable and talented Math teachers I have ever known.
Constantly, seeking to improve, Clyde is a conscientious and dependable person who always puts forth a maximum effort in order to succeed in whatever challenge with which he is faced. It is without hesitation that I recommend Clyde Rue for employment in the area of teaching and/or supervising the teaching of Mathematics.
