Dear

Recently a group of stary-eyed, idealistic young people and teachers who had together dismayed at the dehumanizing aspects of today's suciety decided to form the Summerhill Association. Their goals were to attempt to find some avenue in which they could attempt to put their pbilosopby of education to the test. From these efforts Innisfree was born. Innisfree is a summer experience designed to provide teen-agers with a wealth of creative, recreational, and educational opportunities witbin the framework of a community of their own design. Its aim is to provide an experience which can best help the participants realize tbeir potential as individuals and as members of a group. The inclosed brochure gives a general picture of the proposed program for this summer.
In order to make the summer experience more meaningful to all involved, we would like to have participants from as many backgrounds as possible including those individuals who would not be financially able to afford the experience, On this basis we request your help. Since our goals and the goals of your church have so much in common in the development of human potential, we ask that your church consider subsidizing a student for our program. You would be welcomed to make the selection of the student as long as one of the criteria used be financial need. As mentioned in the brochure the cost of the summer experience is $650.
We also would be willing and appreciative to present a program to your youth group to make them better acquainted with our project and to illustrate how "An Impossible Dream" can be realized.
Please contact me at your earliest convenience if you have interest in our proposals.
Sincerely yours,

Clyde B. Rue, Director
